I take a lot of pictures which means a lot of batteries for my camera. I’ve found the disposable batteries might last about a month but usually less and the rechargeable batteries I have about 2 weeks. I also have a Wii and depending on the use the batteries in the remote can last anywhere from a week to 2 months. With that said when I was offered the PowerGenx NiZn rechargable batteries and charger I didn’t have to think. I said yes immediately.
The NiZN batteries are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable meaning almost no landfill waste. The batteries are nickel/zinc which can both be recycled over and over and still maintain their physical and chemical properties.
The quick charger I received states the batteries will be charged in less than 2 1/2 hours. The initial charge took about 2 hours. The charger also has a built in AC adapter that folds down on the back of the charger. This will eliminate the separation of charger from plug which is usually a problem.
The charger with 4 AA batteries sells for around $29.99 and a pack of 4 AA batteries around $14.99 but I did see them for a little less at Amazon.com. The batteries and charger are available online at Amazon.com, greenbatteries.com and depoteco.com
