I’m not the gamer my husband is but I do have a Nintendo Wii and like to play some strategy, puzzle and simulation type games. I was given the opportunity to review Lost In Shadow and it’s simplistic yet can be a bit difficult at the same time.
In Lost in Shadow you’re character is a shadow that’s been separated from his body. You now have to get back to your body to be reunited with it. The problem is, you can only move in the shadows cast by buildings and other object to climb up a tower where your body is and that at times can be difficult. You’ve got a shadow fairy to assist you and she can interact with some items in the real world.
Lost in Shadow is a bit like Mario where you have to manipulate some shadows to raise and lower and you’re running, jumping to gain higher ground move from one shadow to another. You are involved in sword battles with other shadow figures and you have to use your brain to figure out what to do next.
Lost in Shadow is rated E for Everyone 10+ due to “animated blood and mild fantasy violence.
Lost in Shadow is scheduled for release on Jan 4th and can be pre-ordered for $38.99 and $39.99 at Amazon and GameStop respectively
