Lexar 8GB Platinum II SDHC Memory Card Review and Giveaway

I love photography and with that comes taking pictures, a LOT of pictures. With the invention of digital photography I’ve been taking many more pictures than I use. Now for the downside of this, I don’t always delete pictures after I download them to my computer so my memory card gets full FAST.

I recently got the chance to review a Lexar 8GB Platinum II SDHC Card. This is a high speed card which has a speed rating of 60X. What does this mean for me. I get to take more pictures and they download faster to my computer which gives me more time to, take more pictures.

Now you’re probably saying, but I don’t take that many pictures. That’s OK. With a card reader and the Lexar 8GB Platinum II SDHC Card you can expand the memory of your computer whether it’s a desktop or notebook.

I’ve been using this card about 2 months now and haven’t had to delete one photo yet. I’ve even shot a few videos on the card and it’s not even half full. How’s that for memory. I have noticed a slightly faster download time but I’m usually downloading 15-20 photos at once so I expect it to take a little bit of time. Plus I multi task so I’m not always watching the progress of the download.
